I enjoy putting together "projects" in Mabi. I'm currently more or less done with my own, so I'm open to suggestions from others.
A "project" can be anything from a fully upgraded and enchanted weapon, or an outfit. For myself I've finished: Ego Ice wand Ego Two-handed Sword "Melee Outfit" With Stiff/Giant hat, Sacrifical/Giant gloves and shoes, and Fox/Giant clothes and Kite Shield. Paird with Stiff/Fierce Mace and Ego 2h. "Wizard Outfit" With primarily Fox/Wisp enchants around, and Honorable/Wisp Wooden Blade. Looks_Expensive/Pirate Lorica, Fully upgraded. Captain Round Pauldron Chain Mail
(I have two characters, so those were done basicly to outfit them)
If you have an ideal set of gear you'd like to have, talk with me. It won't be free, as these are generally rather expensive items we're talking about. But I like hunting down pieces, finding deals, and working towards goals like this. I can also work with less rich people, and come up with some budget projects that should be fairly affordable as well.
Timeline for getting stuff done is entirely dependant on my own motivation to get it done, and ability to get online to do it. More complicated and involved projects can take months.

This makes me want to have a project... I don't know what a project I would want would be, though. I am poor, though, so I will charge you with this (or humbly entreat you, as the case may be): What are some cool names for a horse? I asked my mom this question and she said Mr. Ed (not cool), and Nightmare (as a play on words, if you didn't get it). I am rejecting those. I am also not asking my mom for naming advice ever again. ANYWAY. Yeah. Horse names! Does that count?

Hmm... never been too good with horses.
Well, you could take the route many take with their own characers' names, and pick something out of movies, literature, or tv. Black Beauty, Mr. Ed, Sleipnyr, Shadowfax, and Hidalgo spring to mind, randomly.
You might also look into some of the modern races that go on, and take a name from their. I think that would hold a sort of authentic aire to it, especially if you run across any fans of those sports playing. Sadly... I have no real knowledge of that field, so lack examples.
When they come out, and you pick one... maybe go simple and name it after the color it is.
Another route, is if you have or had any pets rl, you could name it after one of them. Think of it as a reincarnation of sorts. Heck, if you had/have a horse, even better!

Yeah, I was thinking of Shadowfax, but I would need to be one of the first to get horses, cause that name is going to go fast. Hidalgo would be cute too, for the sandy colored one.

If I get a black unicorn, I'm going to name it Shadowmere after the horse you get in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion.

When are unicorns coming out, though? Not for a while, right?

Unicorns are limited edition, so I get the feeling they may come out along with the horses, and be available for a few days. Either that, or they'll be available as part of some event in the spring. Say, maybe St. Patrick's Day or Valentine's Day, though the former sounds a bit more fitting.
Anyways, if Sylpheed is not already taken, I want to name my horse that. Basashi would be funny too, but I've already been cruel enough by naming my Jindo Inunabe. For those that would like to know, Inunabe literally means "dog pot" but can be translated to cooked dog meat, hot pot style. It's also the name of a soup dish found in Asia, which I believe is indigenous to China. Basashi, on the other hand, is a raw horse meat dish (carpaccio) found in southern Japan, specifically in the Kyushu region. Delicious. >_> | |
