As you may or may not know, foods (that is, "uncooked" foods) in Mabinogi do more than to replenish hunger and change your figure. In fact, when eaten repetitively, certain stats are added to your permanent stats. That is, until you reborn, of course. Anyways, here's the chart.
Some helpful tips to beat down that hunger bar:
1. Meditation. It's a large amount of AP to acquire (3 for Fire/Icebolt and 5 for Lightning, plus the 2 for Meditation itself), but it's really quite worth it when semi-AFKing. One's hunger meter goes down insanely fast with it on, which means the likelihood of a stat increasing during the day goes higher.
2. Battle. Dungeon runs also manage to eat away at one's stamina, just like how one tires out quickly from a fight in real life. It's pretty self-explanatory, but it's not as effective as Meditation.
3. Running About. Running about is another fairly effective way at beating down your hunger bar. Since you can Shift-Click any place on the minimap to keep running, this is pretty effective to use when semi-AFKing. This becomes even more effective once Iriya Continent and Exploration come out.
4. Jobs/Skills. This takes away at your hunger too, but it's fairly ineffective as far as trying to beat down that hunger goes. You cannot be AFK when doing these, but the upside is the prospect of monetary gain in game.
5. Changing Titles. You can only do this once per day, but if you're semi-AFKing, this is particularly effective, since it takes away about 4-10% hunger.
Other Pointers (Do Nots):
1. Certain food will spoil. For example, if knocked down, eggs will break. If left alone, milk will spoil. One just has to know which foods can keep and which can't.
2. Don't overeat. Overeating not only makes you fat, but it also nulls any of the status bonuses one may obtain from the foods.
3. Don't overdose on Stamina Potions. Not only do Stamina Potions tend to be costly, they can give you Potion Posioning if drunk too much at one time. Not to mention, Stamina Potiosn do not recover hunger.
4. Do not eat the Golden Egg. Golden Eggs can be used to obtain a title. Even if it may look shiny, you're either better off selling it or using it to obtain the title, since you need to eat these foods repetitively to gain such a status increase.
