Advanced Techniques for Experienced Mabinogi Players
By Milven
Author Words:
- I won't list basic techniques like N+1 as I don't consider it as an advanced technique
- I will try to update this list as soon as possible when I learn a new advanced technique
9-HITS ICE SLASH COMBO
Note: Must have 5 bolts ready and be fast enough doing it.
3 x Ice -> Cast Ice -> 2x Ice -> Cast Ice -> 2x Ice -> Cast Ice -> 1x Ice -> Normal Hit
Remember that you need to time correctly when you're trying to pull off Ice Slash on the last two actions. If you just can't do this technique fast enough, then I suggest you to level Icebolt to at least rank 9 in order to reduce the casting time.
EQUIP CHANGE COMBO
Note: Start the combo just like when you're doing N+1.
Start with 2-hits weapons: Hit -> Hit -> Tab -> Hit
Start with 3-hits weapons: Hit -> Hit -> Hit -> Tab -> Hit
This technique is mainly used to do a splash attack against many fast-moving mobs with Claymore, then immediately switch back to use your shield to defend against incoming attacks. You also could maximize the damage potential of your combo attack if you start with 3-hits weapons, and use 2-hits weapon to end the combo.
What you can do with it:
Equip Change -> Defend -> Equip Change -> Counter -> Defend -> Equip Change
Note: It's assumed that 2-hits weapons are used to start the combo.
BOMB MILL
Note: Must have Windmill and at least one bomb (paid service)
- Windmill your enemies either by doing N+Windmill or just doing it normally
- Immediately detonate 1-3 bombs when those poor enemies land on the ground (REMEMBER: the explosion of the bomb knocks back the enemies, so you might need to "chase" your enemies)
I made this technique with the hope of adding more damage, yet conserving the usage of bombs. On the additional note, a high-ranked WM + a bomb is usually enough to wipe out a group of unsuspected victims in the arena.
