It's the first day of the Christmas month! But all is not well in Aly-Town. So here's how it goes...

News:

Choco On Hiatus: As finals are approaching, the other officers and I (Lynn and Haak) have called for a temporary hiatus on all things Choco to go into effect. There's also been some personal problems on my side, so I've decided to take some time off from Mabi. If you're truly wondering what it could be about, you're welcome to ask me directly, but not on here.

      Secondly, I feel like my eyeballs are going to fall from their sockets from all the torture I've put them through today. -rub eyes-

      Anyway. I'm Haichii on the forums, previously Haibe and Ieos in-game. My computer died a while back and my laptop goes through a serious error if I dare try to run Mabi, so if you don't know/recognize me, I don't blame you in the least. (:

      But today I realized how long it's been since I've clicked on the Chocoholics button on my bookmarks toolbar, and since I've been hopping through the various forums I'm a part of, I figured I might as well visit this too, right?

      So... yep. Hi. I miss you guys too. Haha. Maybe I'll be on Mabi again sometime soon? ;)

For any of you who have ever used Snowchime's client-side mod on the past, you know how nice it is to have... Well I recently found it reincarnated with a new name.

If you're still interested in it, you can find it here.

It is recommended to make a backup of the file "IJL15.dll" in your Mabinogi directory, as it is overwritten when installing the mod.

Once you install it, make sure you edit "patch.ini" in your Mabinogi folder.

In my opinion, this mod does not give any unfair advantages over other players. However, this does violate the Terms of Service for Mabinogi, so Nexon can cancel your account or whatever if they find you using a modded client... However again, no one will be able to tell if you're using this modded client or not unless you go around telling people you are.

This modded client will only work with client version 33, so if the the next Generation comes out soon, you'll have to uninstall this mod until the next version of it comes out. I'm not sure if they come out fast or not, considering I just now found it a few days ago, but I'll try to keep this thread and links updated.

To uninstall the mod, run the uninstaller in the Mabinogi directory.

-Durability Viewable to Up to 1000x Precision
-Unfiltered Words In Chat (Will Not Appear as "***" To Everyone, So Be Careful)
-Huge Keys
-Removed Obstructions (Tall Grass in Fiodh, Barri Walls, and Runda Walls)
-Removal of Lightning Timeout
-Reduced Lag For Character Window and Chat Log
-Korean/Japanese/Chinese Language Support
-Same Channel Switching
-Full Functionality of Windows and Options During Death
-Disabled Mimic Sleep State

Hi guys! I'm late! Like always! But um....yeah, I'll try not to make a habit of it.

News:

Recent Activity: I've gotten complaints about recent activity about officers. Haak has been out with a cold, along with midterms, while Aly is still dealing with his internet problems. Lynn is...MIA due to general life. We're still here though, so please hang in there.

Events:

Story Night (Real Life Experience!): Got a story that'll have us crying in laughter? Or maybe one that'll leave us (well, Aly anyways) too scared to sleep? Come tell it here! This event will be on Saturday at 3 PM, in Ch1's Tir Chonaill. Place subject to change. The prize for the best story? 20 iron ingots!

Thursday's Aly Hangout has been postponed. Possibly considering another date.

Dungeon Runs:

None for now. Possibly one on Friday, but keep your eyes peeled.
